There is a pay by the hour parking in the area. Unfortunately we do not offer parking validation refunds at this time.
We schedule very few appointments so there is virtually no wait time and we will greet you in the office lobby. Appointments last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour on average.
We only grant appointments to patients that are likely to qualify to be certified for purchasing medical cannabis according to the New York State Compassionate Care Act. Please complete our online Patient intake form and medical release. We will review your submitted referral and medical records and use them to make these decisions prior to granting an appointment.
Being granted and appointment is no guarantee of being certified by our physicians. Your clinical evaluation, in-office standardized surveys, along with other information is used to determine eligibility for certification to purchase medical cannabis.
Payment for service can be made during the office visit. Applicable sales tax applies to all quoted figures. Accepted forms of payment include bank check or money order made out to: New Medical Treatment Initiative, PLLC, PayPal, major credit or debit card/ or cash.

Medical cannabis derivative products can be purchased once your identification card is returned from New York State in authorized dispensaries throughout New York State.

No, medical cannabis is currently not covered by any health insurance. In accordance our services are not covered by any health insurance.
Available forms of medical cannabis includes mainly concentrates: tincture oils, oral/mucosal solutions, vaporizer oils and tablets capsules. Plant material is not covered by the legislation and therefore illegal in New York State and according to federal law.
